Day 1: The Arrival

We didn’t actually depart to Oregon until around twelve thirty-ish which according to Jessica was the earliest they’ve departed in the past which therefore made this the one. This was THE trip, albeit someone forgot the computers for the High School students much to Jessica’s discontent.

We were deemed the title “Marshmallow” as we were… who knows actually, but we stuck with it. I was voted as copilot and was probably the worst copilot Jessica’s ever had! XD I have the tendency to doze off when I’m in a vehicle. After crossing the bridge to Oregon we discovered that the truck trailer thing was losing its insulation much for Jessica’s white hairs also given she tried to leave the gas station out of the road that was entrance only.

The drive was too long also adding to Jessica’s worrisome / stressed states we had to make emergency pit stops. On the way to the campground we passed by some geologically young dried lava flow which we shiny~! Also including Mt. Bachelor and Mt. South Sister.

On the right we have the fabulous Broken Top!

And behind door number two we have the lovely Mt. Bachelor ! X3

On the left we have the infamous South Sister! :3

Camp ground looks cool, I believe someone *cough* you know who you are *cough* knocked the sign down. Moving the giant tables to one side of the camp to the other was a feat in itself, given I am really out of shape and was not built for a muscle work. Dinner by our beautiful campfire, spaghetti / noodle with meat, sauce and garlic bread was tonight’s choice. Had to hide my food stash alongside my toothpaste in the Marshmallow van to avoid unwanted visitors *cough* bears *cough* so my anxiety induced sleep will be wonderful!! XD
